Terms of Product Warranty


The warranty:

DigitalRev offers a 12-month limited warranty on select products from the DigitalRev Online Store, excluding those with a worldwide or international warranty and products listed in "Specific Exclusions" and "General Exclusions". The DigitalRev 12-month warranty is only valid if the product is paid for in full and operates according to the manufacturer's specifications within 12 months from the dispatch date.


What is covered:

  • Parts and labor costs for repair of a manufacturing defect or fault of production that resulted in product malfunctioning, up to a maximum of 50% of the product's original price.

General Terms:

  • The warranty is valid for 12 months from the dispatch date.
  • You must obtain repair authorization from DigitalRev first, and we may specify a particular service center.
  • Do not return your product to DigitalRev without a return authorization form;
  • You will be responsible for the cost of return postage, shipping insurance, and any liability or compensation for loss regardless of warranty coverage.
  • We may replace your product if repair is not economical or provide a similar product of equal or lesser value at our discretion.
  • You will be responsible for the cost of any checks or repairs if the product fault is not covered by this warranty.
  • Repair takes a minimum of 4 weeks, and typically takes about 4 to 12 weeks depending on the issues and we will be keeping you informed during the process.
  • DigitalRev's only obligation under this warranty is the provision of limited service as stated above.
  • You should take precautions to safeguard your assets and property, including making backups and implementing virus checks.
  • The warranty is not transferable to a third party.

Specific exclusions:

Consumables like batteries and films, products listed in Fun Store, and any other items deemed non-essential are excluded from warranty coverage.


General exclusions (what's NOT covered):

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by any external factors, including but not limited to accidents, natural disasters, or misuse
  • Improper usage, storage, or handling of the product
  • Breach of warranty or contract terms
  • Failure to follow written instructions from DigitalRev or the manufacturer
  • Any damages or defects resulting from negligence or unauthorized modifications, repairs, or cleaning
  • Use of non-approved parts, accessories, equipment, or software
  • Loss or damage of data, network connectivity issues, or installation errors
  • Waterproof casings/bags: Warranty only covers water leakage if the product was used within specifications; any damages due to impact or exceeding recommended depths are not covered.
